To say that the last few years since the pandemic was tumultuous is an understatement for many and we are told more chaos is coming. But God promises to keep all those who will come into His secret place. Therefore, we welcome you here at Bloor West Baptist to worship the Lord with us. Here you will find a loving atmosphere grounded in the Spirit and in truth. No matter, what is going on in this world, God is still on the throne and wants you; whosoever will, to come to Him. I dare you to trust Him; believe me when I tell you, He is a deliverer. I am a living witness. So, come and join into the awesome work of the Lord as you find your place and calling for your life. "The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? One thing have I desired of the Lord, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to enquire in his temple. My Testimony
I have been blessed to witness a number of miracles in our family as the result of earnest prayer to our Lord. “Earnest prayer to our Lord is a powerful expression of faith and devotion. It involves approaching God with sincerity, humility, and a deep reliance on His word (the Bible) emphasizing the importance of earnest prayer. These prayers demonstrate the power of sincere petition and the potential for God's intervention in our lives.” - thankyouforpraying.com+5 I watched my husband Brian die from a massive heart attack at 48 and brought back to life with no heart or brain damage. The hospital staff was unable to explain his recovery. Our daughter Regina had an ectopic pregnancy. We came very close to losing her. The baby burst the fallopian tube, she was filling up internally with blood. If she had arrived twenty minutes later to the hospital she would have been died. Surgery was performed immediately and two years later by the GRACE of God Regina gave birth to our granddaughter Emily. I was there when our beloved Father passed on to Glory; we saw the sheer joy in his eyes when Dad moved on from death to eternal life. In the past week our dear niece Kim was put in an induced coma and it was feared by the hospital staff that her life here on earth would end. But the prayers of intercession of believers were heard by our Lord and she was given back to her loved ones. Never under estimate the Devine power of God and power of prayer. “The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.” - James 5:16 KJV “For where two or three gather together in My name, there am I with them.” - Matthew 18:19 NIV “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanks giving, present your requests to God” - Philippians 4:6 NIV “And he said to her, “Daughter, your faith has made you well. Saturday August 9, 2025 - Annual Community Summer BBQ
A big thank-you to everyone who came out and made it so special. From games and activities to the mouthwatering BBQ, there was something for everyone to enjoy. It was great seeing neighbors connect, share laughs, and create some truly wonderful memories together. We loved spending the day with you and can’t wait to do it again soon!
